AEEA
, the Andalusian Association of Schools of Spanish as a foreign language, represents accredited Private Institutions for Teaching the Spanish Language, which offer a wide range of Spanish courses in most attractive places of Andalusia. There are AEEA schools in the provinces of Seville, Granada, Malaga, Cadiz and Cordoba, so the student can choose to go to the coast, historic cities, beautiful Andalusian villages or combine more than one of the previous options. Thanks to AEEA, Andalusia has added another type of cultural tourism to the already existing offer: en excellent choice of centres which specialize in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and have made Andalusia the destination chosen by hundreds of students of all nationalities.
The main goal of AEEA is to guarantee the Quality of Teaching. All the member schools of AEEA have agreed to run based on the principles stated in the association’s 'Letter of Quality' which, in turn, was written based on the norms established by FEDELE (Spanish Federation of Schools of Spanish for Foreigners) and by ELITE (European Federation of National Associations for the teaching of the Native Language to Foreign Students). AEEA is founding member of both federations. What’s more, all the member schools of AEEA have received the Quality Certificate for the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language (CEELE), given by the University of Alcalá de Henares or the Accreditation Certificate from the Cervantes Institute and periodically they must all pass inspection of their teaching methods to guarantee that the teaching offered by the AEEA centres meets with the highest standards. In AEEA, the student will find a wide range of courses, from general language courses to specific courses of professional, all adapted to the age and the level of the pupils knowledge. In this way, children, young people, qualified professional and university students can all find what they’re looking for in AEEA schools. AEEA Schools have a complementary activities program for their students, which make their stay even more exiting. There are also different types of lodging arrangements, all meeting the highest quality standards. The AEEA represents their affiliated schools before the local, autonomic and national institutions. This means that our Association maintains a close relationship with the Junta de Andalucia, as well as the tourist office, embassies, consulates, universities and official centers all around the world. The AEEA collaborates with the Chambers of Commerce of Andalusian capital cities, thus giving AEEA center students the opportunity to participate in the official commerce exams. It is also one of the main objectives of AEEA to maintain a constant dialogue with the Cervantes Institute and other institutions dedicated to the teaching of Spanish language in order to design the academic programs. All of the point we have referred to, along with the conviction that Andalusia´s exceptional beauty, and its centuries of history and culture are outstanding allies for our work, and constitute the spirit of our Association.
